Hi folks,
It appears libc6 for Bunsen Labs is stuck at 2.28. I have an application that requires 2.29+. Is there a way to upgrade libc6 without breaking my system?
Best,
Matt

I don't see any way that you are NOT destroying your system.
Consider [beryllium], there you have the version libc6 2.31

^ Absolutely. Upgrading libc6 is part of the no-no list for Don't Break Debian (BL Version)...
A WARNING
---------
While FOSS is primarily about freedom and choice, certain choices are
known to carry an increased risk of breaking things in BunsenLabs.
Two of the riskier things are:
* adding Ubuntu PPAs or unknown/untrusted repos to your
/etc/apt/sources.list or /etc/apt/sources.list.d
* installing a package that wants a newer version of libc6
More information on some of the riskier things, the above included,
can be found here:

Please type "I understand" to continue with this script.
(You will not be asked to do this again.)
Enter "I understand" to continue. (Q to quit)
Switch to siduction/sid if you want the newest Debian packages, or Bullseye or BunsenLabs Berylliumn or MX Linux if you want the latest stable packages...

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

If you try to upgrade libc6 from say testing you WILL pull in a whole bunch of dependencies that will BREAK your system and turn it into a FrankenDebian that will give you nothing but headaches.
Try updating to Beryllium (the instructions are out there!) and you'll have a version that's compatible for the app you are trying to install.
