Nala (a better looking apt?)

If you are interested in finding a better looking (new) cli tool to perform most apt terminal functions Nala is worth a look.  I have installed and run it successfully to perform my most common tasks successfully on PeppermintOS (Debian) and MXLinux (non-systemd Debian). Here's a link to the development site and software.  Should you want to try it out....

Nice, it reminds me a bit like Arch's pacman. Thanks for sharing this.

Re: Nala (a better looking apt?)

I also installed the package and it works fine in Bullseye. It pulled in no other packages so that's good in case something were to go wrong.

Re: Nala (a better looking apt?)

I've used this for a bit as well.  Worth a look and works well for updating/upgrading use. Adding it to a tint2 button makes for a cool and easy updater.  Nice find:)

Yes maybe set up something akin to KDE's Discover app for showing updates and installing them...
