The October Screenshot Thread! This is where you can post screenshots of your setup, as long as it's in line with our somewhat elaborate rules and instructions...

Please use thumbnails. Do not embed images larger than approx 250x250px (62,500px) into posts, use thumbnails linking to a hosted image instead. Thanks!

Various online free image hosts are available, such as Imgur, imgbb, freeimage.host, scrot.cloud, postimg.cc, etc...

Use the following BB code for posting please:

[img]<url of thumbnail>[/img]

** Update for Imgur users **

Imgur only provides the link to the full image, but just add "t" to the name to get a thumbnail link, and the filename extension eg:

Imgur also provides a variety of thumbnail sizes, and the linked BBCode, in the image "View and edit" screen.

Repeat: To get the linked direct image you need make sure to add the file extension to the url. Their recommended BB code doesn't really convey this properly.

If you just want to upload a screenshot to Imgur, you can avoid a lot of the url-editing etc if you use the BunsenLabs built-in bl-image-upload utility:

Menu > BL Utilities > Take Screenshot > Imgur - Upload Screenshot > Anonymous Upload (or via Imgur account) > Screenshot Now (or whatever)

Then middle-click in the forum Message window to paste the link:https://i.imgur.com/SdicE1Mt.png

You can then "Delete" the image if desired, but don't delete the uploaded image if you want to post it roll

Trying to finish Be-Campfire. The OB theme needs a couple of menu tweaks and I'm not sold on my selected-background color, but it's close...

-edit- Also going through the major GUI file managers... Thunar, Caja, Nemo, I didn't mess with PCManFM or Dolphin, but my choice is back to old Nautilus installed with --no-install-recommends, and then installing nautilus-admin to get an 'Open as root' menu item.

-edit- And let's just get rid of those stupid GTK3 close/minimize/maximize buttons without hacking the theme by adding this line here...

Wiped my computer, a brand new unnofficial/nonfree netinstall of Bullseye running a customized Beryllium session (at-spi2-core and xfce4-clipman removed, battery tray icon and conky disabled, terminal tweaks, Be-Penguin-light themes and Papirus-grey icons)

Interesting, bullseye installed Pipewire by default (in combo with pulseaudio. I installed xfce4 to start). I'll have to install ardour and see if it all works by default.

Thanks! That theme is lost with my new install, but I can easily recreate it from that scrot.

I think you did, but you posted that wall in the Wallpaper thread, right?

Also, chuckling that you and I have both been using our same desktop setups for years now, you still have the same dock icons and I have the same left panel and big clock. We both customized to the point where it was just "that's my workflow, I'll theme around it".
