I'm sure comfortable with that gray.

That reminds me of the old BL Hydrogen theme...that one was oldschool simple!
Some like a quiet desktop and some, cough; robots; cough,
like their desktop to try and spoil the milk in their bowl of frosted flakes.
To each, their own.

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Nice. What's the actual hex number for that yellow you're using for the menu highlight?

#8D776C. Matches Papirus Brown folder icons nicely, I think.

BTW, a good color-picker is essential for theming, of course, but GNOME 3's color pickers absolutely suck. Save what's left of your sanity and use Gcolor3...

I did when I was using geany as my test editor, but I don't use it anymore so I go with gcolor2/gcolor3.

That's a good one too. Yad has some useful built ins like the calendar and font viewer. I was using gcolor2 before I was aware yad had that functionality.

Same here, Geany is overkill for my needs. I use mousepad, it works.
Besides, use a text editor to pick colors? What the hell, middleman?

The GTK is named Be-River. I have several GTK themes that I need to add Openbox and xfcy4-notification themes for. River, Campfire, Ribbon, Rachel, Sail, Lighthouse, DemonChild, Bullitt2. I'll post when I start uploading them.

There is always the built-in yad tool
yad --color
