Hi, What is the Lithium 3 ISO image? Is it a updated ISO for Lithium or is it a beta-test for the new version Beryllium?

It is update of Lithium. Comming release-candidate of Beryllium will probably be named beryllium-rc*.iso.

@rbh Okay, thanks for the info. I didn't see it on the Installation page so I was just curious.

Should I use it as install media or wait for Beryllium?

But it is on the installation page! The links on https://www.bunsenlabs.org/installation.html, to download 64-bit DVD ISO or 32-bit CD ISO, points to ver. 3. The text on the page is not changed since lithium-1.
But, there was no anouncement on https://www.bunsenlabs.org/news.html, as was done with "BunsenLabs Lithium install media refresh Feb 2021", pushed from forum "News & Announcements".

It is impossible to answer that,without more knowledge of your situation.
If you havea vital box, that has crashed or you replaced your sole working system,then I would say yes, install with lithium-3.

Else, I would recommend you to wait 2-3 weeks more (mayby).
