Minidlna auto startup as a service

I have a minidlna set up to serve my videos over lan to broadcast to a smart tv. The files are on external usb hdd the only working way was for me to run minidlna in my user name and run the reindex command as well from a batch file. The only issue is when the batch file runs from autostart at every logon it needs a password. It would be ideal to run minidlna as a service but no online tutorial works.
Anyone has experience how to start minidlna as a service with the right permissions so it could see the folders on the usb?

Re: Minidlna auto startup as a service

It's been a while since I used it, but I think this page
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ReadyMedia
covers pretty much everything.
