Re: AMD/ATI Proprietary Driver

@rbh

Thank you for all the help and patience. So after I re-installed and updated my os to lithium bunsenlabs, I ran the command "inxi -G" and this is the output

jenny@jenny:~$ inxi -G
Graphics:
  Device-1: AMD Kabini [Radeon HD 8210] driver: radeon v: kernel
  Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.4 driver: ati,radeon
  unloaded: fbdev,modesetting,vesa resolution: 1024x768~60Hz, 1024x768~60Hz
  OpenGL: renderer: AMD KABINI (DRM 2.50.0 4.19.0-17-amd64 LLVM 7.0.1)
  v: 4.5 Mesa 18.3.6

Should I update any drivers?

Is it behaving or is it still lagging? You can always as I wrote before upgrade firmware-amd-graphics and kernel from backports. Rmember, your cpu is no workhorse but "For simple office and multimedia tasks, the E1-2100 has sufficient power".

Re: AMD/ATI Proprietary Driver

@rbh,

it's now acceptable, but it feels abit slower compared to my windows pc that I use at office.

I used to remember crunchbang was extremely fast n' sleek after I upgraded my drivers, that was, oh my gosh, almost ten years ago?
