^ are you taking screenshots of your desktop? You know, most media players have a screenshot function, which should always give superior quality: original video size, not desktop size. If you need to upscale from that, you have much more control doing it in GIMP or so.

Lol, some in the press are calling it the best OS default wallpaper pack ever. Those shills! To be fair, these are preview images in a fairly low-res format. Agreed, though, not that great.
