I have a few suggestions for Beryllium:

simplescreenrecorder - to replace gtk-recordmydesktop (as no longer in debian)
vokoscreen-NG - another screen recorder worthy to replace gtk-recordmydesktop
celluloid - GNOME-MPV replacement which is functionally the same as basically a GTK3 based fork as GNOME-MPV was abandoned.

Lets add more as gtk2 is basically gone in Bullseye and beyond, not to mention python 2.

Yes Beryllium comes after Lithium in the periodic table of elements.

Just a thought: Make the installation process independent of internet connection?

For the 32 bit iso, it means that something else should be omitted. Libre office writer?

Agreed. A base installation should be able to be done offline if no connection or if there's no drivers available for any network hardware in the system. Once installed, then issues can be resolved such as with network or display for example.

^ Already available, I think. Choose "install network at a later time", or a similar message. This means you'll also need to add sources and update apt after you have an Internet connection.

Ok, I have missed that development. I think I tested install without internet, for about a year ago, ran into problem with grub. Seen other users asking for help after that.

Ohh didn't see that one, so good to know that and if users are having trouble installing they can do an offline install that way then and then get help via using another machine.

Another good suggestion is to keep a copy of default sources.list somewhere so then it be an easy task to set that up.

When choosing install:
If Debian installer can not identify your network, you will get the choice of manual point out the network or install it later.

If you have a working lan. but no outside connection, installation will fail due to no mirror. You have to back and choose continue wihout network mirror.

In sources.list.d, pkg.bunsenlabs.org, will be added.
In sources.list, security.debian.org is added.
Maybe deb.debian.org should be added...

Info that user have to intervene. fix sources and a pointer to https://www.debian.org/mirror/list, is not easy accessible.

^ That's all correct. I've bypassed the network connection step in the Debian installer many times due to a missing WiFi driver (b43, included in BL but not in any Debian release, not even "unofficial"). No packages are downloaded during the install, so the initial apt upgrade is a big one. sources* have to be added manually, post-install, after the missing driver is installed (via a USB drive or copied from another partition).

There's also an option in the installer to copy the missing driver(s) from USB during the install, but I can't remember the directory path needed to make that work (/lib/firmware, most likely). If anyone can chime in, cheers to you!

The installer will search the root of removable devices.

Can I suggest a screenshot tool like Flameshot instead of Scrot. It works from a tray icon so single click available and has loads of annotation tools for instant noting before saving which makes creating manuals and the like a very easy one step process. What do others use? There may be other options but when I google it Flameshot rates highly in evaluations.

scrot is a very small install compared with flameshot, which also requires qt libraries. Apart from the in-app editing and annotating, scrot is quite capable, especially using the BL Utilities menu items. It is also possible to set up Tint2 executors or buttons to run it, simulating a tray icon.

This isn't to knock flameshot, I'm just saying that scrot perhaps has more utility in BL than might be assumed. There is also maim, which makes it very easy to send screenshots to the clipboard for editing with eg GIMP.

I have a few preconfigured commands in my menu, does BL also do that? That's just as good as a systray icon.
I should add one for the clipboard I guess.
