Hi guys, can someone tell more about this site lwfinger.com.
I understand that the firmware is being downloaded from it to the BunsenLabs when i update the system (or also probably in Debian, i'm not sure).

Where and when and how exactly are you seeing lwfinger.com in your BL system?
FWIW, I don't think BL has any business downloading anything from that domain.
Anyhow, it seems to have sth to do with realtek firmware.

Manually ran the script "bl-welcome".
And looked at the LXterminal during the system update.

lwfinger.com is where Debian gets Broadcom (and maybe Realtek?) drivers from.

yes, the Broadcom drivers are updating from there . . . something about the link having permanently changed. Went by too fast and at a glance.

Just a reassurance - by default BL doesn't download anything from any origin except the BunsenLabs and Debian repositories.
The only exceptions are with user consent after an explanation, as with Dropbox or Flash.
