n00b keyboard mapping question

Hi All

Just got started with BL on my Acer C720 CB with replaced BIOS

The keyboard is not like a PC or normal laptop keyboard though and has some odd key placements.

I've done a search on the forum and generally and only seen a couple of mentions of this but not how it was achieved in getting the screen brightness and volume buttons working?

I know it can be done because I tried out Gallium which was OK but crashed fairly frequently. BL hasn't crashed once and feels more much more stable!

Any tips / pointers welcome smile

ps There is no 'Super' key so need to map alt-gr but I will go look for that setting now smile

Re: n00b keyboard mapping question

xev is your friend to see what the keyboard is sending

xev -event keyboard

then you will use xbindkeys and setxkbmap
