Re: Conky weather+moon scripts (Accuw/WUndergr/Weather.com/NWS/MoonGiant)

Added one more variable to the script - night=Night
Change according to your language, ie. Nacht, Nuit, Νύχτα, etc.

@arof,

I see wonderful work. You use the "HTCSpill-Conky" as a basis for your weather.com editions. Awesome!  smile

That this doesn't work properly is because in the meantime these weather frogs have "built" their weather page again after the release of the new script by Teo.

I wonder if Teo is not getting fed up with this. I wouldn't blame him.
You gotta start putting these "Americans" into skat...

Skat is a German card game invented in Altenburg, mainly among men.   devil

^^Teo, you tireless weather worker, thanks for the script.
Now the change between day and night has occurred and the display is brilliant between the two.  big_smile

I really hope it lasts long!  wink

No complaints, so...

ANNOUNCEMENT
Weather.com's 10 days' forecast layout changed again. New variable (night) added. If you're running a customized conkyrc, you might want to make a few changes. Thanks to all for your feedback.

Hi there folks!

I was directed to this thread for support on integrating the weather into my conky:

On updated Buster

[EDIT]I notice that even trying to add the first line of this:

${font Denk One:bold:size=10}W E A T H E R ${hr 2}$color${execi 600 bash $HOME/.scripts/1_accuweather_RSS/1_RSS}

breaks the conky.

If I run 1_RSS in the terminal, it works:

The fonts and scripts were moved from a working install I have on an older version of bunsenlabs.  Could someone perhaps point me towards where to start troubleshooting this?

Thanks for your time!

Do you get any error messages when you run conky from a terminal?

Hi @Teo.
But the latest announcement refers to the weather.com script, or the accuweather script?
Thank you

Oops!!!
Thanks for the tip ector1935!
It's for the weather.com script of course; I've corrected the announcement, as well as the first page update notification.
