Thanks for the help, @ohnonot! Here's a new set of 9 PNG images (1920x1080) exported from vectors of screenshots of Blade Runner...

@brontosaurusrex
I really like this whole "floating" bunsenflame concept.
Especially the 2nd one, with the near-lithium theme colors, is excellent!

@hhh: 46M for the traced SVG, that's more like it.

Very cool. Also, a little unnerving? That's a slightly scary view.

^ Nice! The blur in the foreground, is that supposed to indicate movement in the water? It looks wrong to me, almost like a JPG artefact. I think I'd leave the foreground sharper, unaffected by whatever material the blocks move in. Otherwise I like the underwater quality.

Yeah, the weird dof blur is partialy a problem with render + optix denoiser + wrong scale in comparision to water + geting into weird domain of realism...
Not all my fault, I blame cycles.
The idea is to learn Resolve/Fusion.

Looks more like a photographic "depth of field" affect to me.
Notice the distant blocks are blurred as well.
I like it for that reason - saved.

Glorious, saved. No wonder I keep coming back to Futura as a desktop font, it's space age. DATACENTRE FTW!
Futura rip-off font...

Trying to figure out where this pic was taken was by the Sheraton Hotel reflection. "*IN ***ARD"?

Thanks! Besides the motive, I love the colouring.

Yes, it's a nice font. No idea what it was called the first time it came out. Definitely before the computer age.
Back then I knew it as Helvetica.

Pretty sure the first letter is a K. Kingsguard? King's Bard? Ward? Lard?
The spelling of "Centre" suggest something UK or at least Commonwealth?

@Anaconda, nice!
@ohnonot, yes, it's basically the amber color that was the alternative to the Matrix green on early CRT monitors.
Futura is a proprietary font that came out in 1927, currently licensed by Adobe...

https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/futura-pt
It's used extensively in sci-fi movies, notably Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey...

And helvetica is something different: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helvetica
It was certainly popular, I'm sure I thought I remembered seeing it on W98, but that's unlikely because it was a Mac thing. I guess it came up in webpages' default font lists a lot.

^ And Monotype ripped-off Helvetica developed Arial for IBM so printers and, later, computers could display 'Helvetica' without paying for the license.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arial
Windows computers used Arial from Windows 3.1 up until the switch to Calibri starting with Office 2007.
Arial was part of macOS as well, but Helvetica is indeed a Mac staple...
In the late 1970s and 1980s, Linotype licensed Helvetica to Xerox, Adobe and Apple, guaranteeing its importance in digital printing by making it one of the core fonts of the PostScript page description language. This has led to a version being included on Macintosh computers and a metrically-compatible clone, Arial, on Windows computers.

Thanks for correcting me.
Back then I knew it as Helvetica.
The font certainly looks more like Futura than Helvetica, but I'm sure the free knockoff I used then was called Helvetica. No idea why...
