I don't actually need Virtual Box, but it's +6°C and raining this morning, could be snow tonight, and what's a person supposed to do except play indoors? Cover the tomatoes? It's June is it? We'll build snow forts tomorrow.
I've been installing BL Helium on older hardwares. Oracle's site - well I couldn't find a 32 bit version of VB. It's here: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_5_2
and so is the Extension Pack.
Added later:
I had to do the following to get it to work (I always do thing one step at a time)
$ sudo apt-get install linux-headers-686-pae
$ sudo apt-get install gcc
$ sudo apt-get install make
$ sudo /sbin/vboxconfig
It suggested perl to also be installed but I have that already. Last step takes a while as it adds VirtualBox into the kernel,

Snowing already in June, or still snowing from the previous winter?
I usually have the opposite problem. I install 64bit VBOX and end up with only being able to do 32bit guest OS. Forgot what the trick was. Usually something in the bios I need to turn on for the 64bit hypervisor support.

Yes I believe that is right re the bios.
It's a northern climate here, always winter is lurking. It was +26° 4 days ago. I actually prefer the winter, but hard frozen, -10 is lovely.

Are there any 32bit computers out there with enough spare RAM to be running virtual machines?
...elevator in the Brain Hotel, broken down but just as well...
( a boring Japan blog (currently paused), now on Bluesky, there's also some GitStuff )

I doubt it...very very few 32 bit P4's or older AMD P4 compatible CPU's have virtualization support.
Real Men Use Linux

Just because I have one temporarily, and for no good reason, VB works on a Toshiba u300 satellite that I put Helium on over the weekend which has Intel Core 2 Duo T5450.
(I'm going to be a dangerous person when and if I ever fully retire. Happy Covid 64th birthday to me. I would like to do 64 computers to give away before I reach 65. Less if I catch the damn virus and die. )
