[Solved] Wi-fi not working

Did a Debian 10 netinstall, added the lithium repos to install bunsen over wired ethernet cable and it went fine. During the debian install I agreed to the ipw2200 firmware installation.

The laptop has Intel ipw2200 adapter, I can see my broadcast ssid and connect to it with the password and I get assigned an ip address via dhcp. Network manager says my connection is active.

The problem is I can't connect to anything, I can ping my own IP 10.0.0.104 but I cannot ping my gateway 10.0.0.2 or anything else in the subnet or outside the subnet. Browsers etc obviously don't work.

Any ideas?

Sorted itself out after a reboot.
