Kernel

^Because a new kernel just came in...  smile

Please update your systems regularly (nothing unusual for me at siduction every day)!

Everyone should know that AI-based security vulnerabilities have been discovered in the kernel in recent weeks.
e.g.
CVE-2026-43284 ("DirtyFrag")
CVE-2026-46333 (ssh-keysign-pwn)
CVE-2026-46300 (Fragnesia)
CVE-2026-43494 ("PinTheft")
(Probably not complete and not in the order in which they were discovered)

Currently are:

Debian fixes the kernels very reliably. I've had cases where a newly discovered vulnerability was being discussed in internet forums and Debian had already fixed the kernel for me 2 hours beforehand.
I'm really not worried about that.  big_smile  So, remember that.

Re: Kernel

Great info and it's certainly advisable to update kernels regularly, even on stable.
