How do I delete my account and my posts?

Every few years, I clean up my online footprint. It’s been over five years since I last posted on this forum, and I can’t figure out how to delete my account and my posts. Could someone please tell me how to do this or who I should contact? Thank you very much.

Just send an email to me or any other member of the team.

Reminder - post content is in the public domain, and if there is anything there that would seriously break the meaning of a topic - especially code - then staff might decline to remove it, and only delete a user's personal data. In your case I don't see any problem with deleting everything, though.

While forum administrators highly value your privacy and will take action as soon as they reasonably can to respond to requests to remove personal content you might have published by mistake, a distinction has to be drawn with technical, non-personal information. Once published, such information is considered to be in the public domain, and the property of the community. Deleting such content is liable to make topics difficult to understand, or even meaningless, so administrators will remove it only under special circumstances.
