Yes, it does look like that but it is in fact a stand-alone panel -- I just can't remember what it's called and apropos(1) gives me nothing mad

Actually, your posts inspired me to try xmonad again and I'm loving it.

There's not much to see, really:

The ugly colors in the EWMH plugin for xmobar seem to be hardcoded. The plugin itself isn't documented, either. I happened to come across it while looking how to write plugins for xmobar. I might have a go at making it configurable.

I've been meaning to try OpenBSD, too. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I want to try setting up a Xen hypervisor in Arch with Debian as a paravirtualised domU

And then writing a howto. LOL.

The Arch forums don't do HowTos big_smile

Instructions here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xen
https://wiki.debian.org/Xen

I'm just not sure which one to use as dom0, Arch is more flexible but Debian has Xen in the official repositories.

Choices, choices...

Welcome, urukrama; how about saying hi in an introduction thread? Not that you need an introduction, but all the greetings are about to flock in this screenshot thread. Will we see your year 2016 in screenshots here in advance?

Re: January 2016 Screenshots

Hm, this is the KDE-spin of fedora 22 updating. I never liked KDE that much and Fedora i dislike for their brilliant but horrible slow package manament tool (yum it is). No bashing here but KDE is what it was, a resourcehog and the new fork from yum called dnf did nothing better for me. Slow as ever compared to apt or pacman, but it gets the job done... To be fair all the installed KDE stuff seems to work as they should.

Conclusion: One can work and go with it but that is just not my taste of Linux...

I've found the volcano pic on imgur(http://imgur.com/gallery/YPwRZWv) today and placed it in my wallpapers folder; and the wallpaper rotation script nailed it.
