I just remembered - wasn't that someone asking to change their user name not title? Mods can do that, but it's not something we should do often IMO, only if there's a good reason. Forum members could easily get confused about who they are talking to. Maybe the member at that time also realised that, and asked for their name to be changed back?

I think the Arch forums are also negative about changing user names.

It was Nili...

I change my avatar and subtitles regularly, should I stop doing that? No. Not my username though, but many new users of the forum mistake the title (Gaucho for me at the moment) for the usename (still hhh, since 2017).

I really don't care what the Arch forum does, we're the antithesis of that that forum. I'm elitist as hell (New England, baby), but I don't want that on our forum. If you use Linux, you're cool here in my book.

Another year and we'll be a ten year old forum, it's not been a problem so far.

Not the greatest track, but not bad. The next song is better.

Labwc, sfwbar (mpd.widget), mako (wayland notification) on gtklock (lock screen).

The notification shows while screen is locked. The widget buttons are inaccessible at this time, but there is another lock widget that can control that - next mission!

Thanks! Ink is based off of dragon, though slightly darker.  It is one of six themes (four dark and two light), designed so that the highlight color can be changed on the fly.  What's cool about this is that if one finds the base colors okay, then an a near endless number of combinations can be had for whatever theming is desired. The Custom Drow theme is a basic copy of Adwaita, though all the themes are based originally from Greybird.

This is setup so that if choosing to use a custom highlight color, then ~/.themes is created (if not already present), and the theme is copied there for the changes. If there are issues for whatever reason, the theme can just be deleted from ~/.themes without worry.

If the final result is wanted as a permanent theme, then it's easy enough to just change the names of the resultant custom theme for whatever use.

For now, I have these setup to change the highlight colors for GTK-3.0, GTK-2.0, and the Openbox theme. The changes could also be made in a live session and transferred easy enough. I currently also have setups for a custom tint2 and custom conky colors as well.

I could do more if I had better programming chops, but so far this all functions decently enough without issue.

Here's Ink out of the box, and a basic white theme, Ghost.  For Ink, I needed a theme similar to Dragon that would match the Obsidian icon set, though with the highlight changer, it doesn't really matter anymore.

I call them 'labbe-materielle-sage' for now, a custom job derived from my PMaterial set. I also have the 'bark' version. Very, very WIP.
