Hi everybody,
I have a fresh Install of Bronco on my Maschine. I want to connect to an Samba share with Vers 1.
I know I can connect to it when I write in the smb.conf Client protocol =NT1.
But where is the smb.conf?
I came from Ubuntu and there it is in the /etc/samba folder. But in my fresh system there is no samba folder.
Could you please Help me?
Greetings from germany

I don't think samba is installed by default, you really ought to be looking at avoiding smb v1 if possible, can what you're connecting to not do smb v2?
I'd recommend this method if it'll work.
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for he shall not be disappointed...
If there's an obscure or silly way to break it, but you don't know what.. Just ask me

Update to add, if the linked method doesn't work plain, you can apparently specify -o user=Username,vers=1.0
Whatever you're connecting to has to be XP era though, since smb2 came in with Vista, & is probably overdue for an upgrade...
