MPV black screen [Resuelto a medias]

Hola.
MPV reproduce el video sin imagen, pantalla negra, sólo el audio. Sin embargo CELLULOID, que es un frontend de MPV, los reproduce sin problemas. Me gusta más MPV puro ¿cómo puedo solucionarlo?

Hello.
MPV plays the video without image, black screen, only the audio.  However, CELLULOID, which is an MPV frontend, plays them without problems.  I like pure MPV more, how can I solve it?

Una solución rápida que hallé fue desinstalarlo, borrar mpv.conf, y renombrar la carpeta /etc/mpv como /etc/mpv.old (por las dudas no la borré). Parece que la configuración de bunsenlabs tenía algún conflicto con mi PC.

A quick solution I found was to uninstall it, delete mpv.conf, and rename the /etc/mpv folder to /etc/mpv.old (just in case I didn't delete it).  It seems that the bunsenlabs configuration had some conflict with my PC.

Anyway, I would like to know what needs to be modified in the MPV configuration so that this does not happen.

Oh, it s easy mate, just add [Solved]by editing at the beginning of your thread s title.

Someone else might be better at wording it here.

Resuelto a medias porque la solución fue eliminar la configuración de Bunsenlabs. No hubo solución propuesta ni respuesta a mi consulta.

It would be nice to find a solution, but anyone trying to help with debugging will need more information, like:
1) what video are you trying to play?
2) how are you launching mpv?
3) if you run mpv in a terminal to play that video what error messages do you see?

This is the first report of someone having a problem playing a video with the default BL MPV configuration.

Does celluloid generate a config file in ~/.config/celluloid ?

You can compare that file, or the settings in celluloid, to the BL config file for mpv. You may spot something obvious.
