There are probably way too many styles available for the forum, and some of them don't work so well anyway. Maybe it's time to trim them down a bit?
The default style for people who don't have a forum account, or are not logged in, has been recently switched to Hydrogen-Dark: https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=8934
This question, though, is about what styles people use after they've logged in and can choose.
Profile > Display > "Select your preferred style"
(I use Hydrogen-Dark, but for desktop Crunchbang works equally well.)
If you could just post the name of the style (or styles) you use, and optionally any styles you've found you don't like, it will help us decide which styles can be got rid of. My guess is we might cut the total down to about half of what there is now.
Thanks!

(from the earlier thread)
Hydrogen
Triggered by this thread I tried all of the available ones and that is what I like best. If I had to pick a dark theme it would be "Mercury".

Hydrogen-dark, after trying a few.
TBH, I can't see much difference between Hydrogen-dark and Crunchbang.
#!/bin/sh
echo '#include <stdio.h>\nvoid main() { printf("Hi, bunsenlabs\\n"); return; }' > bunsen.c
gcc bunsen.c -o bunsen
./bunsen

That's how it's meant to be. Crunchbang has some layout issues on small screen devices, while Hydrogen works fine. Hydrogen-Dark uses Hydrogen's layout, mostly, while trying to look like Crunchbang.

I change it often, but mostly Helium.Good for my weak vision & crappy lightning as the laptop s situated just in front of a window.
Keep up the great work at the team.

Same, please don't abandon it!
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

hydrogen since default. Didn't give it any thought.

Yes indeed.
Caution is required as there is interdependence between styles.
The images used by Hydrogen are in Air style.
From Hydrogen style:
background: url(Air/img/email.png) left 65% no-repeat;
Thanks to the link you posted earlier, I easily found a solution for my local setup (Hydrogen-night, Hydrogen-invert) and downloaded the Air images here:
https://github.com/johnraff/fluxbb-snip … le/Air/img

^A useful reminder to be careful when removing themes from the server, thanks.
In fact, on Hydrogen-Dark I used images not from Air but from SimpleXBlue because I thought they matched the darkness better. Maybe some day even make customized images for Hydrogen-Dark.

* Desktop Monitor / DELL U323QE
These styles below come out better on my Desktop Monitor.
DarkGrey
Hydrogen-invert
Hydrogen-night
Tungsten
Air2
Air2, the most suitable for the day time.

* Android / Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
These styles below come out better on my Phone.
Air2
Antimon
Cobalt
Helium
Hydrogen
Hydrogen-dev
Hydrogen-invert
Hydrogen-night
Lithium
Mercury
Oxygen
Radium
Sulfur
Technetium
Tungsten
Others styles don't look good at all on my Android, as they have problems with text that is either cut off and extended at the bottom.
Edit: Hydrogen-dev is it fine to be default for guests.

My fav s Helium as other lighter themes as I m not a big fan of dark themes, but some are nice. My vision s not the best , so it might be why I favor lighter themes.
