directory ~/.dillo on clean install. [ Resolved ]

I'll go ahead and call this a bug.

While doing the year-end backups, I noticed there is a ~/.dillo directory populated with some files - bookmarks, cookies etc ...

Is the ~/.dillo directory and files needed for some other BL process? If not, I will delete it.

@johnraff @hhh - are these personal files of yours that should not be included in a BL install?

Looking at the files, I'm going to guess it's intentional. I think @johnraff is also spinning a minimal CD and dillo will be the browser for that. It's fine to delete the folder, though. If you ever want to restore it, it's also in /usr/share/bunsen/skel

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Re: directory ~/.dillo on clean install. [ Resolved ]

Right, the dillo config is there for people who install it, or for the lite setup. Perfectly safe to remove - all it does is add some useful bookmark and search settings and tweak the theme. The same way we ship some urxvt and terminator settings.

Minimal CD iso is a "nice to have", maybe down the road a bit, but the i386 iso ships dillo instead of firefox.

Off-topic, but who knows how much longer there will be 32bit isos? A 64bit iso small enough to fit on a CD would have to be severely squashed down.

^Right, once i386 kernels and debian-installer are gone, there's nothing BL can do to keep 32bit isos going.
