Hi!

Today I was looking for menuentru for obconf. Could not find it. I noticed that a month ago menu entry Menu -> Preferences -> Openbox -> "WM Preferences" was renamed to "GUI Settings". I cant remember any discussion about this change.
"GUI Settings", is a little bit vague. If you haven't opend the entry, it's hard to guess that is the graphical tool obconf.

I propose that "GUI Settings" is renamed to "obconf - GUI Config Tool". Just inline with renaming menu entry for inxi:  "inxi - Quick System Info": first the application command and then what it does.

There was no discussion about that change, no. I didn't think it was important enough to devote time to.
Previous to "WM Preferences", the entry was "GUI Config Tool". Another developer felt that "WM Preferences" was better and made the change, in 2017, without any discussion. Nobody complained and that's what the entry was for 6 1/2 years.

I noticed it when checking something else and thought that "WM Preferences" was a little bit vague. Did you not think so too? You could have brought the issue up any time. The previous entry was "GUI Config Tool" which is really more accurate, and I more-or-less reverted it to "GUI Settings".

I'm not sure how important it is for the user to know that the name of the utility is "obconf" before they open it, but if you prefer "obconf - GUI Config Tool" then I won't object. My choice was made mainly to keep the entry length short, to harmonize with the other items in that sub-menu.

If anyone has any other last-minute suggestions for tweaks to the menu, please post them here!
There might not be time to put them in the Release Candidate (out soon) but they should make it for the official Boron Release.

(One other no-one might have noticed yet is that BLOB has been moved back to "User Settings" from "Utilities". In Helium it was under "Preferences".)
