Ship Vulkan graphics packages by default?

I know almost nothing about graphics, sorry, but maybe some other members can help here.

The new kid in town, Vulkan, has been around for some years in fact.
"Vulkan is a low-overhead, cross-platform API, open standard for 3D graphics and computing."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulkan
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Vulkan
https://wiki.debian.org/GraphicsCard
https://linuxconfig.org/install-and-tes … n-on-linux

Just for yuks I installed libvulkan1 (was already there as a dependency of xserver-xorg-core) mesa-vulkan-drivers and vulkan-tools.

Then both 'vulkaninfo' and 'vkcube' worked, but I can't tell if anything on my system is actually using Vulkan now.

So two questions:
1) Is there any point in shipping the above vulkan packages with BL by default?
2) If so, is there any configuration which should be set out of the box so as to actually use them?

Re: Ship Vulkan graphics packages by default?

After a search of the forums here it seems this "vulkan" is not in high demand. Some threads that dates back to pre pandemic. Maybe people in need of it not are in the BL target audience, Debian Stable/Openbox, so probably no need think more about it.
