Hello,
I have a Live Lithium USB that works, however, install fails because there is no CD-ROM to mount.
A Dell Latitude 2120 is the target.

How did you make the USB? You can get odd behaviour from debian installer depending...
I'd recommend you first check the download's checksum.. the instructions how are on the download page.

I took a break, came back and googled instead of duckdusckgo and got a hit from this forum.
Rufus was the problem: instead of using Rufus' default I had to select DD. Which is what I would have used had I downloaded Lithium onto a linux machine.

The default mode rather than dd mode fails to pick up non-free firmware, amongst other problems apparently.
You can mark it solved (if the mods here don't) by editing your first post & prepending that to the subject line.
Glad it's solved. Though I susoect you'll be installing Beryllium soon if Lithium is suitable to your use case.
