Hi all.
Not to long ago somewhere I saw discussion on modloaders for Minecraft, and in particular, ones that make the process easier for Linux. I can't remember what ones people were suggesting to use, so I was wondering if any of y'all had any ideas.
Now I know it all depends on a number of factors, examples being what DE you use, what init service you use, what package manager you use, and much, much more. My priority in modloaders that would be easiest / best to use are for:
1. Debian or Debian-based distributions
2. Systemd (although *not* my preferred init service), simply because of its prevalence in Debian(-based) distros today
3. Can be installed by apt / dpkg, or by a git project
Hope this discussion will make things easier for others, too

Hey there!
I had this discussion with my son some time ago and he ended up using the FeedTheBeast-App which is easily installable through the provided shell script. It seems to be:
1. Distro agnostic
2. not depending on any part of your init-system
We had it running on endlessOS and now i can confirm it to function well on debian testing with experimental beryllium repos enabled. Well, besids the kown problems with electron-apps and sandboxing...

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?
