Hmm, brown is always Ubuntu Feisty Fawn and purple is always every Ubuntu release after that. Damn you, Ubuntu.
Trace that bitmap and go full Feisty, I say...
Are those tint2 popup thumbnails, or a cinnamon desktop thumbnail?
Cinnamon, of course. I hate tint2! :monkey: xfce4-panel or die! Dire Straits, Money for Nothing but Sting sings "I want my GUI!!!!"

Forgot you're an xfce4-panel user. Did gnome-panel install with cinnamon? Gnome-panel not behaving the way you want?

I'm already moist.
Er, uh, the weather, yes. It's been raining a lot the last month. On the plus side, it's one of the coolest starts to a summer, temperature-wise, that I've had in my decade in this town.
Con, lots of invisible, very fast mosquitoes. Pro, the ultimate test of discipline. Don't scratch for fifteen minutes and the bite is gone. Scratch and you have an ugly scab for 2 weeks. I'm at no scabs, FTW.

Surface is neat, but the 'always on cloud' idea is very 1984 (I hope they will change their mind in time), I can expect (hope) that at least EU will say no to that at some point.

Exaclty. Windows 10 is pretty stable at this point, so I thought this might be the perfect opportunity to break everything, which I guess they are not doing. Still fugly though.

I was taking a look at blocklists the other day for a DNSCrypt instance, and the number of MS IP addresses one needs to null-route for a Windows setup seems to increase year over year.
