Re: Touchscreen device not recognized

Not coming up with a scenario where the live session works and install doesn't.  Wild.  As far as I know, there shouldn't be any differences in the system between the two unless a package was specifically added to only the live environment, and then removed on install.

While this is done for other issues, I don't see it happening here. (removal of feature).

sudo journalctl -p 3 -xb

Should show any log errors on startup.  Also just:

sudo journalctl

should show everything as logged.  No access to dmesg, but for the kernel log:

sudo journalctl -k

Re: Touchscreen device not recognized

^^Welcome to the forum!
I would also like to add something.
A big thank you for the detailed hardware specification. smile

I think you are missing a driver or firmware.
So it might be easiest to look in the journal:

sudo journalctl -p err -b -e --> jumps to the end
sudo journalctl -p err | grep “Unifying Receiver” (or similar)

or, you compare between live iso and the installation

grep "Using input driver" /var/log/Xorg.0.log

what the differences are.

The sufu of a search engine "Logitech Unifying Receiver" shows a lot of information....
Have a look at the solaar package.

apt show solaar
