Remove all Tint2 apps for fresh install of Tint2

How can I remove the BL-Tint2 editor and the BL-Tint2 manager and all other traces of Tint2 without damaging the system?

Basically, I want to do a fresh install of Tint2 so that I have just the panel and the native tint2 conf tool without any of the BL tools and the extra folders holding Tint2 themes in multiple locations.

When I deleted the apps via synaptic, manually deleted the folders, did an autoremove command and then re-installed Tint2, I was unable to start tint2 at all and Conky had also disappeared.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Remove all Tint2 apps for fresh install of Tint2

As a general rule, try running a command in a terminal for information on why it is failing.

The following command runs the default tint2rc that tint2 provides

tint2

or run

tint2 -c /path/to/config

Don't forget that there are commands in your bl-autostart which will need commenting out.
