Re: scrot 'em @ scrot.moe

Nicely done! Is it all your work?

If I may, two things:
- Can "we" have cli upload? (like transfer.sh)
- Can "we" have bb/html (with or without) thumbs that would actually link to an image, like this:
postbang_krkej_green.th.png
?

Ok, ok - I registered an account.

It would be nice to click on a scrot to see the full res version.

You can atm, but it isn't very obvious: Selection -> Action -> Get embed codes -> Viewer links -> BBCode thumbnail linked

Did I read that right at 6 clicks? Maybe I'm not understanding.

Why not just just make the mouse become a (+) symbol when hovered over the pic to indicate that it can be zoomed in on?

I am not complaining, just genuinely curious. Thanks to whoever is reponsible for building the site.

Re: scrot 'em @ scrot.moe

If I've been reading correctly, the site admin has restored easily-accessible embed codes. If you click on an image, the codes are at the bottom of the new page.

Re: scrot 'em @ scrot.moe

@damo
The dev has accepted the 'direct image link' request and this should be available in the next release...
Just to be clear on this point, this is the requirement as mentioned in the post above by brontosaurusrex, to have BBCode available to link directly to the image as per;

2015-12-02-014752_1920x1080_scrot.th.png

rather than having to add this manually

@twoion
Good point I will look into adding SSL

All feedback welcome  wink

Note: still waiting for dedicated IP activation so there could be some 'issues' on older browsers...stay tuned...

Sweet.

And here's a nerd bragging...A+ on bunsenlabs.org big_smile

Maybe you could disable TLSv1 (I haven't), permit only very strong ciphers and use unique DH parameters for the ssl module of your webserver.

Hmm...I am no SSL expert...but I will look into your request.
Could you briefly explain the advantages of your suggestions.

Well, TLSv1 and v1.1 both have flaws that TLSv1.2 doesn't have (you can look the issues up easily). The considerations that need to be made become clear from a look at the the browser TLS compatibility chart -- you basically need to ask the question: Who should be able to connect to my SSL page? and choose options appropriately.

The weak dh parameters part is related to logjam. Also see this guide.
