APT update fail -- Expired Signatures? [Fixed]

Hey all. I'll be honest, I'm not a Linux expert by any means. I tried to

apt update

today but judging from the output of my terminal it seems something went buggy? Take a look:

tamber@sonoma:~$ sudo apt update
Hit:1 https://deb.debian.org/debian buster InRelease
Hit:2 https://deb.debian.org/debian-security buster/updates InRelease
Hit:3 https://repo.steampowered.com/steam stable InRelease
Hit:4 https://deb.debian.org/debian buster-updates InRelease

tamber@sonoma:~$

So from what I can tell by doing some basic reading is that there's some sort of error with the gpg signatures for whoever maintains the Lithium repos (which, from reading 2ion.de seems to be jjohn). Seems simple enough to wrap my head around, if what I'm thinking is true, but I have no idea how to fix the signatures... hmm

Anyone else having issues with apt updating cause of this?

If it's been a while since you updated, it could have to do with this:

The issue is your apt keys are out of date on the BL repos, and reading the thread linked to by @Nick should resolve your issue. Post up if you have issues or problems and there'll be people to help you.

Hi all!

Following the advice of the link @Nick posted, I was able to get it working. I had a bit of a hiccup with a ppa I added, but some editing to sources.list.d and I am free to update =]

Of course, be careful maintaining your system using an Ubuntu PPA. I posted a now very old tutorial on making it safer, but remember... Don't Break Debian.
