nakeDeb

nakeDeb has been getting a lot of discussion here. Also, the developer has been chiming in, so that helps. Time for a dedicated thread.

Re: nakeDeb

*Hi, I'm nake... (note the 'I' typo in the scrot)

Clumsy wording in the first sentence, IMO, but it's not my distro. "Come play with me", gaa! Awful tagline.

Re: nakeDeb

^ Do you mean the lower case "i"? Lowercase seems to be a big part of the theme. I'm surprised the "H" is capitalized.

Especially in French, something like...

Venez jouer avec moi.

Yeah, totally not creepy! No 'The Shining' dead twin sisters reference at all.

Re: nakeDeb

Re: nakeDeb

@ arpinux  ^^ No, that's worse. smile technics is a brand of audio gear. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=technics

technical sheet was fine, if changed it should be technical data. or nakeDeb stats.

Hey, I had a good Technics turntable for vinyl in the '80s, when digital still sucked. One never forgets the calibration readout from the side of the platter under that (lithium?) orange glow.

Not near as good as what they have now...

Re: nakeDeb

Merde, where's the link for English?

https://nakedeb.arpinux.org/

Still in progress, I guess.

Can I create a Shining twins graphic for the English site? "Come play with us, Danny. Forever, and ever, and ever."

Way off topic here, it was $300 US tops at the time. I probably payed $150 at most.

^ Here's to supporting a one-man distro, like #! was. And, to be frank, like BL is. John Raff does the heavy lifting and we all spot him (it's a gym phrase).

Not so simple. Don't forget all the work @twoion does on the web presence and repositories, single-handedly. And the graphics interface is @hhh + @damo + @brotosuarusrex. And the foundations we build on, the work of so many people...
