What are the means to increase the system fonts; I prefer write in a config file (without clicking ...)
Thanks for your help.

First, the easy part, Menu > Preferences > Appearance
and change the font size from the default 10 to whatever you prefer.
If you want to change the font itself, "sans" in the Appearance dialog is an alias, so instead of choosing some other font there, go to Menu > Preferences > Font configuration
and change the font families there. That way, anywhere where the font is set to "sans" or "sans-serif" will use your new choice.
Many applications set their own font sizes though, so you will still need to change those separately.

Many, many thanks. It succeeded.
Before I got your message,I was on the Appearance page, but I did not sea the line for configuring the size of the font. With a magnifying-glass, I could read the entier page.
(Now I use 24-fonts).
