Hi Forum,
I just saw an amazing review on youtube and that me curious enough to try Lithium. What’s holding me back at the moment is the fact that I just bought a new Thinkpad T14 with a Ryzen pro 4650U recently.
What do you think, will that work? Bunsenlabs with that relatively new processor?
Would love to know your opinion before I erase my arch install ?
OK, I can tell you: It does not work "out of the box", you cannot even start the Live Version. LightDM is not being loaded :-(
Why don't you base the whole system on arch rather than Debian? ;-)
Have a nice day, Strandreiter

Because the distro philosophy is to base it on Debian Stable. If you want cutting-edge then you could do a basic install of eg Debian Sid and install the bunsen meta packages. Followed by the necessary tweaks.

I have a Ryzen based desktop (CPU has builtin graphics) and I've managed to install Lithium on it by using the text based installer. After installation ran bl-welcome to add the backports repo then was able to update kernel to 5.4 which supported the Ryzen graphics.
A good trick to run the Live is to disable builtin graphics via the BIOS and add a regular AMD or nVidia GPU first.
