I am really excited to be a part of this community, and look forward to giving back where I can. I am an average computer user who is happy with the sleek minimalism with bunsen. I used to use #! about ten years ago, and it has really grown to be more beautiful (matters a lot) and friendly since then. I got my printer up and running in about five or ten minutes, which is a lot of what I use this laptop for. I just put in a new hard drive, as the old one was failing, and made the switch from mint to bunsen.
So I had a question.
Is there any way to configure automatic updates?
Thanks a lot! This looks like the start of a fine romance.

The usual response is.... have you searched the Forum or the Debian wiki? In this case you could have a read of Development & Suggestions > Ship unattended-upgrades with BunsenLabs?
If you just want to update instead of upgrading then you could create a systemd script or a cronjob to do it for you. Most folk find it is very easy to do it manually, and I use an alias in ~/.bash_aliases...
alias update='sudo apt-get update'

Ok, here's a quick on for you. When I right click in chromium the drop down menu is all black the first couple of times I do it. Any ideas? Is there an irc channel?

For general BunsenLabs and Debian stable issues. Please make a serious attempt to search for answers before posting here.
And checkout the BL website for info about channels: https://www.bunsenlabs.org/faq.html#ind … t-channels
