Notification History (HELIUM) [SOLVED]

What tool or gadget I could install to access " notifications History" ??

I mean, misc apps make a Popup show up for a few seconds in the top right corner

Sometime it's simply an eMail notification but sometime is some important notifications.

And if i'm busy, i missed it and sometime have problem find it back...

Exemple some Web Site,  I authorized to notify me in one of my Browser, showed something (Altert) and I missed it and didn't have time to notice from which site it  comes...

Hope my question is clear LOL

You could try to install xfce4-notifyd from backports. The buster version has  a "Log" facility.

As a work-around you could set the timeout to a high value so the notification persists until you dismiss it.

Re: Notification History (HELIUM) [SOLVED]

This depends on the notification daemon one uses.
I use dunst which allows

  • re-viewing old notifications with a hotkey

  • not removing notifications when user has been idle for a configurable time

  • not showing notifications at all when screensaver/locker is active, then showing them all

  • adjusting the size of the notification history

Dunst works easily as a drop-in replacement to existing notification daemons - on BL:

apt purge xfce4-notifyd && apt install dunst && killall xfce4-notifyd && notify-send ASFGHDASFGDGHAS

Ugly ootb, but you can edit ~/.config/dunst/dunstrc.
