bl-user-setup / Cache missing message a booth ( Lithium) [SOLVED]

When I boot Lithium for the 1st time, there is some message about missing cache and about running bl-user-setup to import changes etc etc etc

What do we do with that ?

Sorry, noobie questions for your " testing version" (good combo) ... BTW I love it...

There is now a check at boot time to see if there have been any updates to files in skel. In this case, because there have been package updates since the iso was made. On a new install, just answer yes to all.

Re: bl-user-setup / Cache missing message a booth ( Lithium) [SOLVED]

But thanks, Yoda for posting.

This is a new version of bl-user-setup and it's good to have people bring up any bugs and annoyances now so we can try to fix them before the official release goes out.

A newly installed setup has no user cache of the previous config files list, so the first boot will bring up that popup message. I need to think a bit about how it can be bypassed in the case of a new install...

Or when you upgrade from Helium. Also seen it on Lithium when the new function of jgmenu was installed.

^Yes. This will happen when bunsen-configs is upgraded to the version with the new bl-user-setup. In that case the popup is unavoidable.

Once the latest bunsen-configs is included in the next iso then the problem will go away (I now realize smile).

No, you will be able to upgrade OK. A simple edit of the apt sources list file will be needed, but we'll post instructions for that when the new iso comes out.
