I guess It went slightly darker at the end due to the last minute decision to make it blue-er.  One before that is slightly more positive I guess

Re: Wallpapers

^ Nice! The blur in the foreground, is that supposed to indicate movement in the water? It looks wrong to me, almost like a JPG artefact. I think I'd leave the foreground sharper, unaffected by whatever material the blocks move in. Otherwise I like the underwater quality.

Re: Wallpapers

Yeah, the weird dof blur is partialy a problem with render + optix denoiser + wrong scale in comparision to water + geting into weird domain of realism...

Not all my fault, I blame cycles.

The idea is to learn Resolve/Fusion.

Looks more like a photographic "depth of field" affect to me.
Notice the distant blocks are blurred as well.

I like it for that reason - saved.

Thanks! Besides the motive, I love the colouring.

Yes, it's a nice font. No idea what it was called the first time it came out. Definitely before the computer age.
Back then I knew it as Helvetica.

Pretty sure the first letter is a K.  Kingsguard? King's Bard? Ward? Lard?
The spelling of "Centre" suggest something UK or at least Commonwealth?

Re: Wallpapers

@Anaconda, nice!

@ohnonot, yes, it's basically the amber color that was the alternative to the Matrix green on early CRT monitors.

Futura is a proprietary font that came out in 1927, currently licensed by Adobe...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futura_(typeface)

https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/futura-pt

It's used extensively in sci-fi movies, notably Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey...

Re: Wallpapers

And helvetica is something different: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helvetica
It was certainly popular, I'm sure I thought I remembered seeing it on W98, but that's unlikely because it was a Mac thing. I guess it came up in webpages' default font lists a lot.
