Proxy for linux

Hello everyone,,
is there any program for proxy for linux? I know you can change the proxy settings through my browser but then I have to keep on looking for new proxies through google. I remember when I used to use windows they had some programs that automatically switched my proxy settings, there got be something similar for linux settings right bitcoin sweepstakes?

A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary for requests from clients seeking resources from other servers.
Your OS is the client in this case.
In this sense, there is no "Proxy for Linux" - it's OS-independent.
I have not heard about the sort of automation you are asking for.
Maybe read this.
