I'm not far from this seller, so I could pick it up, and have a nice toy to play with for $30.
I've searched and found success stories with Ubuntu and others, Thoughts please?

and I'am writing this post in it, so it appears possible. I'am using rEFInd to dual-boot, but I only boot to buster lately. It is not exactly smooth sailing, but for 30$ it's a win. I still think it's a beautiful machine to look at (Haven't seen the latest cheeze-maker mac-pro thought).
