Changed openbox autostart not working?

Following fix from here to match trackpad scroll direction with my windows laptop and if I manually execute the synclient command it works but it isn't setting it from ~/.config/openbox/autostart which is odd since I have a program at the bottom of the autostart that does get launched with every login.  I've logged off/on twice and rebooted 3 more times, no go.  Ideas?

Post your autostart file and confirm that your using helium/stretch and not lithium/buster. Hi-light your output and click the "Code" link directly above when you post so that the autostart code is formatted correctly.
