Recently I started experimenting with terminal based packages like ranger (it's related packages), cmus and mutt.
How about including them in BLOB the full ISO because they immensely go along with BL's visual aesthetics and are lightweight too.
I do love and use the GUI file manager, media player and other lightweight packages. I am suggesting an addition, not replacement. Moreover terminal packages take up negligible space.

I edited your OP, BLOB saves theme, icon, conky, compton, wallpaper and tint configs. Those cli packages should be included by the install is what you're proposing.
