[SOLVED]Changing window border and menu background

Hi all,

So... Somehow I have managed to change this on my work install of BL and I forgot how to.

image.th.png

This is my work BL - dark background, no ugly ass green frames.

And this is my home BL - same theme (copied over from work BL).

I am losing the plot, I have had a look everywhere I could think of, searched through posts dating to 2017 and BL theming 101 as well.

The answer is probably in front of me but I am blind.

Thanks in advance!

I don't have patience or skill to dig deep enough every time system breaks itself or when I break something because of lack of patience and skill.

Re: [SOLVED]Changing window border and menu background

Need to edit the openbox themerc file for the given theme. Should be an openbox-3 folder in /usr/share/themes/<theme to edit>

Active window border color, menu settings.

You'll have to edit as root if the theme is in /usr/share/themes

You must unlearn what you have learned.

soooo, yes. It was staring me right in the face.

rc.xml

<theme>
    <name>albert-black-grey</name>
    <titleLayout>NDSLIMC</titleLayout>

ah, my beloved, unified, greyness.
