[RESOLVED] stretch-backports

I have the following sources setup:

/etc/apt/sources.list.d/bunsen-stretch-backports.list

has the entry:

deb https://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/debian stretch-backports main

...and

etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian-stretch-backports.list

has this:

deb https://deb.debian.org/debian stretch-backports main contrib non-free

So, if I want to install a package using:

sudo apt install <package_name> -t stretch-backports

Which backport does it use? Bunsenlabs' or Debian's? What is the difference between the two, and do I really need both?

Thanks!

Re: [RESOLVED] stretch-backports

what an amazingly concise explanation. 10/10 would recommend.

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?
