So, a few months ago my Lenovo Yoga 900 laptop that was running Windows died. I swapped to using my Toshiba Satellite that I already BL on for a while, and found myself putting off reimaging my Yoga more and more. Finally, I decided to put BL on my Yoga instead of messing with Windows licensing garbage.
The Yoga has a 1800p screen, despite having a 13.3 in display. What this translates to is UI elements that are not very large. I actually had a similar problem on Windows that was not fixable.
I can't seem to find anything that allows scaling of UI elements, and search has come up fruitless. I found this thread on HiDPI screens but it did not seem to work.
Worst case scenario I can lower the resolution of the screen, but is there any way to scale UI elements up so that they are more visable?
Thanks in advance.
(I tried to add as many key words as possible to aid those searching in the future)

What is the output of
xdpyinfo | grep resolution
You can set the dpi in ~/.Xresources. I think the default is
Xft.dpi: 96

The output is
resolution: 97x97 dots per inch
I tried changing the number in .Xresources before, to the appropriately scaled 160, rather then 96
just noticed the line is preceeded by an ! by default, gonna remove it to see if it works

I did so, and all the programs scaled, which is significant improvement, but the tool bar and the decoration of windows are still small. Do you have any suggestions for these?

I have found tint2's hidip setting, and can get hidpi openbox settings as well
