Looks very very nice.
I might consider playing with Open(Free)BSD myself and might try my hand at making a setup as close to BL as possible. If I do, I'll pick your brain as to what needs to be done
Think jgmenu can be rebuilt for *BSD as well.

Off topic, because it is relevant and I can't help myself. Ignore the last 2 minutes where it does some 2001 analogy, it's the best YouTube clip I could find.

Ahem, also some proof of why this film is the best video in the Star Trek film catalog, arguably.
No, he can't sleep on the floor. What do you think I'm yelling for?!!!

Thanks DeepDayze but all the hard work was already done as far as looks thanks to the BL team for making there sources freely available .
Pick away ill try and be as error free as possible . One hint that will save you time is you cant use startx function with .xinitrc you have to symlink .xsession to .xinitrc due to some xorg critical bug to do with setuid bit. So all i did was create ~/.xinitrc and enter exec openbox-session then create ~/.xsession and symlink .xinitrc to .xsession. But you have to have to start X with xenodm before doing that and i did that at install time when it asked if X should be started by xenodm but you could probably choose another dm after install maybe.
I am going to tinker with Jgmenu i think it would be a nice addition.
