Firefox up-date hosed my pinned tabs

Last thing yesterday I up-dated my system.

Today I find the content of all but one pinned tab in Firefox has been changed. This surely must be a bug. Anyone else experienced this?

This is on the machine still running BL Deuterium.

Re: Firefox up-date hosed my pinned tabs

Firefox has changed a lot recently. If you've upgraded to the "quantum" version starting ~60 then many old addons will be broken.

The price of progress. neutral

Re: Firefox up-date hosed my pinned tabs

Yea I missed a lot of those great old addons that lasted until circa FF 57. Managed to find some usable replacements for many of them that were compatible with FF 57 and later.

Re: Firefox up-date hosed my pinned tabs

Tab pinning has nothing to do with addons AFAIK.

There was some major confusion in my Firefox session a while back in conjunction with the multi-container tabs feature: All my custom containers got deleted, and the container<>domain associations that remained were messed up.

I'd note it down as a transient bug. As always, make sure you have your important Firefox data backed up (bookmarks, history). Unless the issue is reproducible with a new profile (start with firefox -P, create a new profile) I don't think we'll be able to catch the bug...I've been using the same Firefox profile since 2012 and have been using infinite history for 5+ years, so I wouldn't dare submitting bug reports for issues that occurred once with that profile and which I wasn't able to reproduce with another, clean one.
