Le Max 2 - adb/fastboot recognition

Hey there,

my friends smartphone is not recognized on the mtp level.
lsusb shows vendor and product ip; but i couldnt add it to some list...

would like some help so we can flash a different rom.
with my nexus 4 anything always worked fine, with this google plus phone it doesnt.....

to what "some list" were you trying to add it and why couldn't you?
show us.

these things are getting more and more complicated with every android (?you didn't specify?) version.
please look at these serach results; go through the first result and do everything asked there, and show us all commands & their output.
keep in mind that this howto is for ubuntu; the commands should be identical, but you shouldn't install any ubuntu stuff.

if it then still doesn't work, the device probably needs a custom udev rule because it's too new.
