having trouble with mac keyboard

Hi, just bought an old macbook pro (2015 model) to dual boot with bunsenlabs OS. But I'm having many problem with this mac keyboard.. The problems are:

1. The ~(tilde) key (just next to 1 key) types < and ~+shift types >.
2. Every f#(f1, f2, etc..) keys seems to work when I press them with fn key. Also for alt key, so I have to press alt+f4+fn to close windows.. Could this be fixed by interchanging some keys in /etc/default/keyboard (I've done this with escape and caps lock)?
3. The keyboard backlight is not working.

Can anyone help me fix those problems?

Re: having trouble with mac keyboard

Have you tried setting a Mac keyboard with

 sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration

Edi /etc/modprobe.d/hid_apple.conf and add or replace this option:

options hid_apple fnmode=2

Reboot (probably) is required.

I use home-made script hooked to keyboard keys for this, but there might be more generic solution. See this ArchWiki, find your model, and see what can be done.
